Situated on the outskirts of Paris, Villa Savoye was in the middle of a complete restoration when we visited on a beautiful summer day. Designed in 1928 by Le Corbusier as country home for Pierre and Emilie Savoye, it is one of the monuments of the modern of architecture and must be seen to fully appreciate the design.
